Lu Grompone is an independent industrial designer from Uruguay based in Germany. She has worked as a lead designer at denkwerk and their innovation lab
thinx
and in the innovation department at the toy company Ravensburger. She combines over ten years of experience in innovative design with a broad expertise, from analog to digital - always with a personal style and a hands-on approach. Lu solves problems in a playful way by combining objects into new typologies. Next to her work as industrial designer, Lu has developed a distinctive style in illustration, which she applies to exhibitions, children’s books, stage designs and textiles.
Since 2023 she is co-hosting Ladies Wine & Design Ravensburg.
